How do you turn a wildfire prevention message into something personal? By giving a voice to Cyprus itself.
Built around the idea “I Am Your Cyprus”, the campaign invited people to see wildfire prevention not as an obligation, but as an act of care for the place they call home. Inspired by the fact that Cyprus is greener this year than it has been in over a decade, the campaign highlighted the island’s beauty, fragility and the importance of protecting it from a single moment of negligence.
The campaign consisted of a hero film and two supporting videos focused on wildfire prevention behaviours, including outdoor activities and charcoal barbecuing safety. Through emotional storytelling and practical prevention messages, the campaign encourages personal responsibility and greater awareness around wildfire risks.
Running from June to August 2026, the campaign is deployed across television, radio, social media, YouTube and outdoor media as part of an integrated nationwide awareness initiative.
