Supported by a comprehensive Public Relations strategy, the initiative generated extensive television, print and online media coverage. More than 100 representatives from government, institutional organisations, sports federations and the media attended the event, while coverage included Cyprus’ five national television channels and an in-depth feature on Cytavision. In addition, the press release was published by 15 online news portals, contributing to a publicity value exceeding €54,000.
The initiative demonstrated that corporate social responsibility creates real value when it is translated into meaningful action, setting a positive example of collaboration between the public sector, sports organisations and private enterprise to advance gender equality in sport.
